Vicky Pattison set to host new MTV series about body transformations
Vicky Pattison has reportedly landed herself a brand new show on MTV about weight loss journeys.
Rumour has it that the former Geordie Shore star and I’m A Celebrity Queen of the Jungle is set to front her own new series on MTV. The series will focus on body transformations, which is a topic that personally relates to Vicky after she recently went through her own weight-loss journey.
The news comes after Vicky was dropped as host of Channel 5’s revived Blind Date series. A source told The Sun newspaper: “The show will see Vicky guide members of the public through weight struggles.
“The format will be similar to Khloe Kardashian’s Revenge Body.”
The insider continued: “Vicky is over the moon to be fronting the show.
“It appeals to her target audience of young people, unlike Channel 5’s Blind Date, which is pitching at an older crowd.”
It has also been reported that Vicky will be leaving the I’m A Celebrity spin-off show Extra Camp after just one series. However, she’s informed fans that no decision has been set in stone just yet.
“If I’m not right for a job or the producers decide to replace me, I would take it on the chin,” Vicky explained previously. “I know I’m relatively new to this industry but I do know that’s the future of the game.
“However, there have been no decisions made about Extra Camp, none at all, and that’s a quote that’s gone on record from both my management and everyone at ITV.”
She added: “If, when the time comes, ITV decide to replace me or my role is made obsolete, I will accept it.
“But in the meantime, the big wigs and large cheeses are far too busy sorting out Saturday Night Takeaway and Love Island, and we get thought about much further along in the year.”
