TOWIE’s Jon Clark left “devastated” after discovering girlfriend Chloe Crowhurst will appear on Love Island
The Only Way Is Essex star Jon Clark has lashed out at girlfriend Chloe Crowhurst after discovering she secretly applied to appear on this year’s Love Island.
The 2017 Love Island line-up was unveiled this week and Jon received the shock of a lifetime when he saw his own girlfriend among those entering the villa.
Chloe, who works as an executive assistant in Essex, branded all Essex boys “pigs” in her introductory video and claimed all of her previous boyfriends have cheated on her.
However, a source close to Jon has revealed the pair were still in a relationship and the TOWIE star was completely stunned to see Chloe appear as part of the line-up.
The source told The Sun: “Jon is absolutely devastated. The first he heard of Chloe going on the show was last night when the line-up was announced.
“They’ve been on and off in the past but recently they were very much together, there was no question about it.
“They were talking about having children just the other day so this is obviously a massive shock.
“Jon couldn’t resist making his feelings known on Twitter and all his friends knew what his post was in reference to.”
The tweet in question read: “Fame hungry girls lol.”

Jon later took to Instagram to lash out at Chloe in an angry post.

She didn't even break up with me just her phone went off and her mum said she dropped it down the toilet! I'm gutted to think that someome@I let be part my family for so long can do this!! Does this mean Jon might appear on the ITV2 series to confront his former flame? It isn’t the first time an ex has stepped foot in the villa, with Emma-Jane Woodhams showing up last year to shock her ex-boyfriend Tom Powell. Perhaps Jon might also pop by to ruin the holiday…
It’s shaping up to be an interesting summer!
Love Island returns Monday June 5 at 9pm on ITV2.
