Strictly star leaves I’m A Celeb
Strictly‘s Ola Jordan has been voted off I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
The professional dancer, who left Strictly Come Dancing in 2015 amidst claims the show was faked, described her time in the Australian camp as an “emotional rollercoaster”.
Speaking to Ant and Dec after leaving the reality series, she said: “Do you know what it’s amazing. It’s been an amazing thing. It’s been an emotional rollercoaster.
“Yeah, I loved it. I truly loved every minute of the experience.”
Despite enjoying her time on the show, Jordan revealed that things were “not as easy” as they’d appeared when watching the show at home.
She said: “I’ve always loved the show, and I always thought ‘I could do this’, but it’s not as easy.
“Just being away from everything, not having your phone, being away from everyone … drinking the water, which we had to boil. You’re living on rice and beans, it’s hard. You deal with it. You’re in there and you have to deal with it.”
Luckily, Jordan felt that her fellow camp mates made the experience easier, describing them all as a “nice bunch of people”.
She said: “Everyone’s been really nice. A nice bunch of people together. Then the other two came in [Martin Roberts and Danny Baker] and stirred a bit. But then they acclimatised and that was fine.”
Now that she’s out of the competition, Jordan also revealed her tip for the winner. Asked who she would like to be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle, Jordan said: “Carol [Vorderman]”.
