Love Island’s Tom and Sophie blast each other for cheating on social media
Love Island couple Tom Powell and Sophie Gradon came to blows on social media yesterday (Thursday) as both outed each other for cheating during a heated row.
Tom and Sophie coupled up on the reality series Love Island this year, although even on the show their relationship wasn’t exactly smooth sailing. However, the pair proved the doubters wrong and have been together ever since.
…Until now. Last night the couple seemed to have no issue sharing their dramatic split to their followers. Sophie began proceedings by sharing a now-deleted Instagram of a screen grab conversation between Tom and a mystery woman, in which he asks for her digits.
Sophie captioned the post “When I didn’t do anything wrong”.
Tom clearly wasn’t taking that lying down, however, and quickly hit back by sending his own message out on Instagram.
Under a picture of Sophie looking a little too snug with an unknown male, Tom wrote: “2 can play at that game.. @sophiegradon cheated on me the week he got out the villa with a random guy.
“When she was supposedly trying to win me back for cheating on me inside the villa. Oh well the truth is out now. You f****d someone else I got a girls number.. Don’t p**s into the wind sweetheart.”
It doesn’t even stop there. The Love Island star clearly hadn’t had enough of the drama and so decided to take to Twitter to air his grievances further.
Tom wrote: “Only a few days after her promising to make it up to me for cheating on me in the villa Got sent the photo from the guy telling me about it… don’t p**s into the wind sweetheart.”
He added: “And FYI I tried to speak to her personally and leave it off social media.. but nope.. she was adamant about being a child.”
Sophie finally retorted by writing: “A misconceived picture vs actual words. Go figure.” Jheez. Anyone else feel like they need a lie down after all that?
So whose side are you on? Are you team Tom or team Sophie?
Or are they just as bad as each other?
Love Island will return later this year for a Christmas Special.
