Love Island’s Montana Brown lands presenting job with MTV
Love Island star Montana Brown has been confirmed as one of the new hosts on MTV News.
Montana had confessed her desire to become a TV presenter shortly after leaving the Love Island villa, and it looks as though her prayers have been answered after landing an exciting new job with MTV.
The reality star will appear as one of the five new faces of MTV’s online news programme, with Montana’s slot taking place on the Monday of each week.
Talking about her latest presenting venture, Montana revealed: “Love Island was an amazing experience and has thrown me into the showbiz world, but now this is where the hard work begins.
“I’m hoping to forge myself a career that has longevity and it’s a really exciting time for me.
“MTV News is such an institution and it’s a huge privilege to be fronting Mondays for them.”
Jo Wells, Vice President Digital, said: “We are so excited to have Montana on board and think she will be an amazing addition to our fresh and vibrant News team!”
Montana has already dabbled in the presenting world after hosting the fashion segment on ITV’s This Morning last month, so she should feel right at home on MTV News.
The ITV2 star will be joined by four other presenters, who will be fronting the show on different days every week.
While Montana will be leading the way with her Monday slot, Heat Radio presenter James Barr will be hosting Tuesdays, KissFMUK and Kissfresh host Tinea Taylor will be covering Wednesdays, Georgie Wright will be presenting the Thursday show, and Zac Fox will be the face of the Friday show.
Montana Brown’s first MTV News show airs Monday, September 18 at www.mtv.co.uk/news
