Love Island returns tonight for a brand new series on ITV2
Get your sun-tan lotion at the ready, because the hottest show of the summer is returning to ITV2 tonight.
Love Island will launch its brand new series this evening at 9pm and fans are gearing themselves up for daily doses of sun, sex and relationship scandals.
11 love-hungry hopefuls will be entering the Majorcan villa tonight in the hope of finding a potential partner and winning that mouth-watering £50,000 prize.
The singletons looking for love this year are: 26-year-old Olivia Attwood from Surrey, 22-year-old Chloe Crowhurst from Essex, 31-year-old Marcel Somerville from London, 21-year-old Montana Brown from Hertfordshire, 21-year-old Sam Gowland from Middlesbrough, 23-year-old Jessica Shears from Devon, 22-year-old Harley Judge from Norwich, 27-year-old Camilla Thurlow from Dumfries, 26-year-old Dominic Lever from Manchester and 20-year-old Amber Davies from South Wales.
Host Caroline Flack will be making a comeback to bring us all the latest updates from the villa and she recently told The Sun: “The wild moments are fun and good to watch. Of course, showing sex adds to the value of the show.
“The icing on the cake is the thrills and bedroom antics but we never show those scenes unless it is part of the storyline.”
She added: “If the islanders do romp then we will show it — what’s wrong with a tiny bit of romping?
“Some viewers like watching raunchy scenes and others don’t. People love moaning, let them moan. British people love a good moan.”
There will also be a new weekly live studio show, Aftersun, which will air every Sunday. Hosted by Caroline, it’ll be a bit like Big Brother’s Bit On The Side, featuring a panel of different celebrity guests each week, sneak peek previews from the villa, and exclusive interviews with the islanders voted off the show.
Love Island returns tonight (Monday June 5) at 9pm on ITV2.
