Love Island fans are convinced Georgia’s insult was muted during heated row with Dani
Love Island viewers are insisting a crucial moment was edited out during Georgia and Dani’s row in last night’s episode.
The two girls have always had each other’s backs in the Love Island villa, but Georgia and Dani’s friendship may have come to an end after their furious argument in Monday night’s instalment.
After Georgia and Sam made the decision to stay in the villa and split up, rather than remain in a couple and go home, Dani decided it was time to confront her BFF.
Georgia said: “Why is everyone against us? No-one is even talking to me.”
Dani responded: “You two have made the decision to stay in here, be single and get to know other people. I don’t think you’ve actually realised what you have done.
“If you really wanted to stay and get to know each other why didn’t you go home and do it? If I really wanted to get to know someone I’d go home. What are you doing?”
Georgia replied: ‘If Sam had to go, I would’ve left with him. It’s the fact he’s still in the villa with me.’
Jack chimed in that he could see Georgia’s point, to which Dani shot back: “But they can’t crack on.”
Georgia yelled: “Yes we can, Dan for goodness sake. We’ll crack on when people ain’t there, we’re cracking on, we fancy each other. He can’t walk through a room and me not go up to him and wanna kiss him.”
Dani hit back: “But if you still wanted to do that why didn’t you go? That’s what I don’t get.”
Georgia said: “What the f**k? We’ve got to pretend we’re not into each other now.”
Dani continued: “I think you made a stupid f*****g decision. you’re going to be crying, George, and you’re gonna be upset. I’m not an idiot, you will.
“Bore off, you’re getting on me nerves.”
At this point, the scene unexpectedly cut to Georgia storming off from the conversation as Dani and Jack looked shocked and enraged.
Seemingly provoked by something Georgia had said or done, Dani told her: “We’re not talking to each other now. Shove it up your a**e”. Even Jack fumed: “She’s such a little s**t.”
Fans were left confused by the heavily edited segment. However, eagle-eyed viewers swore they saw Georgia mouth something that was muted by producers as she got up to leave, while others were convinced she might have even thrown a drink over Dani.
One fan tweeted: “If you look closely Georgia said something to Dani but the producers muted it that’s why jack called her a little s***. What game are the producers playing pls?? #loveisland.”
Another wrote: “Jack called her a little s*** and Dani was wiping down her arm. Did Georgia throw her drink at Dani but ITV edited it out?! #loveisland.”
Love Island continues tonight (Tuesday) at 9pm on ITV2.
