ITV reveal presenting line-up for England’s World Cup semi-final against Croatia
England’s first World Cup semi-final in 28 years will air exclusively on ITV in the UK.
The Three Lions will take on Croatia at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow tomorrow, to be televised live in the UK from 7pm with build-up from 6pm. A win would ensure the England team’s first appearance in a World Cup final since the fateful 1966.
On the way to the semi-finals, England moved past a group containing Panama, Tunisia and Belgium, as well as overcoming Colombia and Sweden in the knock out rounds.
England’s penalty shoot-out win against Colombia broke television records last week as 24.4 million viewers tuned in to see Eric Dier secure an English victory. ITV will undoubtedly be hoping to revive the rating success against Croatia, albeit with perhaps a less heart-stopping finish.
Mark Pougatch will present ITV’s coverage and will be joined in the studio by Gary Neville, Lee Dixon, Ian Wright and Roy Keane with build up and analysis for the momentous occasion.
Jacqui Oatley, Slaven Bilić and Ryan Giggs will share the responsibility of delivering live interviews and updates from the pitch.
