Incredible make-up artist transforms herself into Hollywood actors for launch of Sky Cinema
Instagram sensation Lucia Pittalis is best known for transforming herself into some of cinema’s most famous faces using only makeup. So it makes sense that the acclaimed makeup artist has now lent her incredible talents to team up with Sky, as the company launches its newly renamed Sky Movies output, Sky Cinema, this month.
Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, Meryl Streep and Tom Hiddleston are the four spectacular makeovers Pittalis has tackled this time around; all hand picked to accompany the movies joining Sky Cinema this July and August, from Spectre to Suffragette, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens to Crimson Peak.
Lucia Pittalis says of the four makeovers, each of which took a staggering 12 hours: “I’ve made a name for myself on social media transforming myself into famous people using make-up, but this Sky Cinema project was the next level for me. It was such a thrill to look like James Bond one minute and then Emmeline Pankhurst the next! Sky Cinema is bringing blockbusters to the small screen, so I thought I’d try and bring some of the greatest actors of our time to life to celebrate the launch.”
Sky Movies will be changing to Sky Cinema from tomorrow (Friday July 8th), from which point viewers will be treated to a new film premiere each day, in addition to more than 1,000 movies on demand.
