Harry Styles to appear on The Late Late Show with James Corden for an entire week
Harry Styles will appear on The Late Late Show with James Corden for an entire week in May.
Corden made the announcement last night in the form of a videoed conversation with the former One Direction star, who claimed to need somewhere to stay in LA.
Corden automatically offered Styles a place in his home, but Styles said he would prefer to stay in the Late Late Studios for the duration of his stay.
After Corden suggested this might be a bit weird, Styles replied: “I just want to stay somewhere that feels like home.”
Finally, Corden gave into the request but quickly established two house rules. Firstly, no houseguests. Styles knows what that means.
The second rule is Styles will have to pitch in on a whole week of Late Late shows during the stay. Styles immediately offered to sing, but Corden was not a fan of that idea.
“I do the singing,” he informed Styles sternly.
Harry’s tenure on The Late Late Show with James Corden will commence from May 12. Conveniently, that’s also the date of the release of his upcoming self-titled album.
Last week, Styles made his solo chatshow debut on The Graham Norton Show, where he performed his new single ‘Sign of the Times’.
